The NHIA would like to remind the public that those in the same NHI account including the insured and their dependents such as parents, children, and spouse can apply for an NHI card through the NHI APP on their phone if their NHI card is damaged or lost, or the photo on the NHI card need to renew.
As for the charges for the new card, an applicant may use a savings account, a mobile payment including iPASS MONEY, JKOPAY, and Pi Wallet, and a mobile barcode created by the NHI APP to pay at a convenience store. In sum, people can apply their new NHI card without visiting the NHIA, making the application time-saving, convenient, and secure.
