The National Health Insurance Administration (NHIA) of the Ministry of Health and Welfare participated today (2nd) in the Life/Business Application Group of the “2020 Open Data Next!” competition launched by the National Development Council, with its project entitled "Mask Supply and Demand Information Platform." After contestants passed the preliminary and secondary rounds, they were evaluated by the public (accounting for 20% of the total score) and the panel of judges (80%). Among 11 contestants from government agencies, the NHIA ranked first and was presented the Application Award by Premier Su Tseng-Chang of the Executive Yuan. NHIA Director-General Po-Chang Lee received the award on behalf of the NHIA. The award gives testament to the public recognition of open data services provided by the Mask Supply and Demand Information Platform and their support of the government pandemic containment strategies.
