The NHIA Kaoping Division has worked with 77 district offices in the Kaohsiung, Pingtung and Penghu areas to offer online services during the COVID-19 pandemic outbreaks. Since 2015, competitions on the NHI services provided by district offices has been carried out. The services include NHI card renewals, premium installment plans and reporting of the disadvantaged cases. In addition, services such as online applications of NHI suspension or enrollment, digitalized services related to the NHI card and electronic bill that have been included to improve services.
