During the COVID-19 pandemic, through the NHI APP, people can search for their  medical record, NHI card number  PCR test result; apply for virtual NHI card and access to vaccination platform for registration and reservation.

To register elder or young family members' NHI card, people should have a card reader, NHI card and household registration certificate and then going to "NHI Card Online Services Registration website". While going through the registration process, people can get device authentication code to bind NHI app to a mobile phone. Once NHI app binding is complete, it will be convenience to check family member's health information and make reservation for vaccination on mobile phone.
