   An applicant can simply stay at home and apply for the NHI card by downloading the NHI Express App to their mobile phone and accessing the E-Counter of the app after completing device authentication. An applicant just needs to enter data, upload a picture, and pay online through the E-Counter, and then the NHI card will be delivered to the applicant's home within 2–3 working days.
