To realize the WHO's stance for which is health one of the fundamental human rights, the National Health Insurance Administration has recently invested its resources for medical services in mountainous areas and offshore islands to attain health equity for the citizenry while also reducing health inequities. In addition, it has also worked on connecting with the efforts of civil associations to improve medical accessibility in rural areas and to implement mobile health care services in regions that lack medical resources. For its efforts, the NHIA garnered a passionate response from the entire club and members of Rotary International district 3502, which donated a pediatric mobile clinic vehicle to St. Joseph's Hospital. At the donation ceremony, held today (18) at St. Joseph's, Director-General of the NHIA Po-Chang Lee presented a certificate of gratitude to the representatives of Rotary International for their contributions to the health of the citizens of Yunlin.
