The minimum monthly wage is to be increased to NT$25,250 from January 1, 2022. The lowest insured amount for NHI premiums will be adjusted accordingly. The NHIA will actively adjust the insured amount for those at NT$ 24,000 and 25,200 to NT$ 25,250. 

    Employees with a monthly salary between NT$ 25,201 to NT$ 25,250 but an insured amount is NT$ 26,400 may apply for reducing to NT$ 25,250. Requests made before January 31, 2022 will be effective from January 1, 2022.
