To ensure the health care of the disadvantaged, the NHIA has established a platform to report a disadvantaged case. For example, during the pandemic, through inter-agency information exchange, the NHIA Kaoping Division actively found and helped families who need immediate relieves because of a sudden domestic calamity. Therefore, the NHI charity fund timely helped these people. Over 800 people have been subsidized and more than NT$ 3 million have been reimbursed.
