As of the latest update, My Health Bank in the NHI APP features a traffic light system in the "COVID-19 vaccination/virus test results"section for indicating one's vaccination status. If you have been vaccinated, you can quickly show your vaccination status to enter various venues in Taiwan.
The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that as of January 21st, 2022, the public are required to show their COVID-19 vaccination records when entering specific venues. To combat the new Omicron variant, the NHIA, in accordance with government policies, has modified the latest version of the NHI APP to clearly present the vaccination status of a user with a "traffic light" system in the vaccine record of the Health Bank. This latest version of the NHI APP can be used for entering various venues in Taiwan.
I. In the "Vaccination" section, the number of vaccine shots received is indicated by inverted green chevrons, with each chevron indicating one vaccine shot.
II. In the "Summary" section, the vaccination status is indicated by the colors red, yellow, light green, and dark green. Red indicates no vaccine shot received yet, yellow indicates one vaccine shot received, and light and dark green indicate two and three shots respectively. The vaccination dates are displayed as well.
III. The "Details" section provides the vaccination institutions and vaccine batch numbers. It lists the batch number of the vaccine received by the individual and the details of the shots. This may serve as a vaccine pass for the public to enter specific venues.
