The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) has launched the COVID-19 Confirmed Case Self Reporting System on May 1, sending COVID-19 confirmed cases a one-time website link by texting to their cellphone number so they may report their contact information of fellow residents, work places, or schools. People may fill out their close contacts investigation form by My Health Bank on the NHI APP from May 4.
By logging in My Health Bank, the user may reach their PCR test results in the Details tab under COVID-19 Vaccines/Testing results. People who tested positive may click on the Self Reporting System link and fill out information for government quickly collecting their close contacts information, in order to reduce the dissemination of disease.
According to Dr. Po-Chang Lee, Director General of the NHIA, the NHI APP has over 17,880,000 downloads as of the end of April, and currently over 8,600,000 people have logged into the My Health Bank. People may check their COVID-19 test results, vaccination records, and purchase records of rapid antigen tests on the NHI APP. If people tested positive with PCR, they may immediately report their close contacts on the NHI APP as well. Furthermore, the dependent management function of My Health Bank enables people to reach the health information of their children and elder family members. In case they are infected, people may also use this self reporting system to fill out their close contacts investigation form.
